Disgusting customer service here. I requested my account to be canceled within days after signing up as I knew I wouldn’t be using it. Months later, I realized that I was still getting charged so I emailed and asked for a refund for the most recent charge, and to have my information deleted so this didn’t happen again. I got back an email saying:
“Since we have zero emails from you requesting cancellation, please forward us that email including all the header data.
We keep all emails received and in fact, you were billed in January too and didn’t request cancellation then either.
Looking forward to hearing from you with that email.”
No, “Sorry if we missed your email, we’ve now canceled your account…”
I never received a bill from last January, it just came out of my account, and my emails always get either deleted or archived each month (plus it’s gmail and if you have it, you know everything gets deleted quickly by them), so there was no way I could show the sent email to them months later.
I specifically requested all of my information be deleted from their system and I haven’t heard back yet.
I don’t know about you, but I make it a point to never do business with a company that treats their customers like crap.
